He’s gay so his opinion on Christianity is almost moot. I have never shied away from the truth of the bible. While many people say there is no mention of homosexuals in the bible they are not entirely lying. The fornication or adultery mentioned in the bible often refers to or includes lust for ones own sex. God in the Old Testament even comes out and tells us point blank that men should not lay with men.
Leviticus 20:13 – If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.28 And even as they did not like to retain God in [their] knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; Romans 1:26-1:28
Jesus Christ died for the forgiveness of our sins not so we may commit them whenever we like. Far too many Christians today think that Jesus died for them to commit sin, there is no precedent for this in the word of God. Huge churches and small ones alike will preach that we are under grace now when we were under the law, they do not elaborate that the Law of God will be written on our hearts so we do not sin. To walk in the Grace of Jesus is to walk as he did, we should not sin no matter what any preacher tells us.
Jesus was full of love and kindness, he never sinned and lived a perfect life. Without that perfect life we could not and would not have forgiveness of sins. Jesus never said we are free to transgress the Law. He made the Law of Abraham Isaac and Jacob more stringent than it was. He made it harder to get into heaven. He also preached against the lawyers and pharisees who bared people from knowledge and salvation. They kept the truth and burdened the people with unnecessary laws and ordinances.
As we study and obey the Bible we come to realize that God grants us incredible freedom but the only way to redeem this gift is to have faith in Jesus, to walk daily in the word of God the bible and to rise above the ways, thoughts and actions of this world. No matter our profession or the office we hold we should always seek to glorify God almighty. When people mention Trump they always fail to point to something more than what the media portrays. The horrible things that others have done will forever destroy every argument against Trump. Bangazi, Spygate, fast and furious and Uranium one are all great examples. We forget that the people who yell about “grab em by the BLANK” ignore Hillary and her negligence resulting in the torture and death of our soldiers and ambassador.
There will always be some politician like Pete acting like he is enlightened and knows better than the Bible and thousands of years of Gods way, now Pete will tell you what God “really meant”. We all know the closest disciples of Yashua (Jesus) were not as smart as Pete Buttigiet. The sad thing is that if people actually believe Pete than they will enter the broad path. Jesus warned many times that the path to Heaven is a narrow one and not many would even be willing to speak truth to the narrow path, it is far more worldly to speak about the broad path to hell. Pete is doing just that as are most liberals and even some right wingers in media.
It is not hard to spot the wolves in media, TV and politics. Do they divide you? Do they put words in peoples mouths and cherry pick information? Do they project what they do onto others so you won’t see their faults? If they are very charismatic and outgoing did you study and scrutinize them to ensure they where not hiding behind charisma? Do they always say they know better than you? Do they try and convince you that they are right even when you have told them to leave you alone about it? Do they get angry when you question their views? Look for evidence they give, internal evidence that points towards external source material and check that material. Then look at the persons experience and Judge that, finally judge your own experience.
Trump pointed at many people for me to look at for support that he was a Christian, a good father, and a Great choice for President 45th and 46th. They attested to his moral and traditional values that he practiced. They showed him as a good but broken man seeking to save a country that he passionately loves. I saw him as a Man, one to look up to. He may not be perfect but he says what he thinks and thinks what he speaks. He is a man who has succeeded by merit of hard work and dedication. People called it a hand out when his father gave him money, little do they know the only way Trump saw his father was when he would help him at the work site. That is where Trump got his work ethic. I do not usually see democrats changing to Republicans very often and that told me Trump was not the usual type.
Come November 5th we will have 2 choices, a self destruct button and a freedom and liberty button. Self destruction is more socialism and communism. Our history is riddled with these ideologies.
We often forget that these things present a real and tangible threat. Between the various authoritarian philosophies millions if not billions of people have died.
Our future is in our hands. We can become educated about the foundational principals that our constitution and declaration make up. If we vote for people who openly want to undermine the constitution or any of the rights we have then what destruction will we reap?
Those who likewise do not know the Bible or the message of Jesus (Yashua) should be avoided. The choice will ultimately be up to us. Would you want to destroy the world and bring about the Apocalypse?
We must remember what our founders wanted, and what God almighty wants. Freedom and Liberty from sin by our own self control. Rather than safety and security by the governments hand.
We have freedom with Jesus Christ and God, but without them we can never have a free society. Without God we will never have tolerance. Without God we do not have any rights. The only government possible after God is a authoritarian dictatorship. Where law and police are the way to good behavior.
